The successful candidate will be a primary technical resource for the field sales force and is responsible for cross-functional operations, including customer-facing, technical, delivery and implementation responsibilities. The candidate will be working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate. The Application Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. He will also play an active role in providing support for various clients after sales.
Primary:
Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application
Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
Listen, understand, and convey customer requirements.
Perform technical/ product training for salespeople, estimators, and engineers at targeted accounts.
Assist in the design and development of new products and tools necessary to make target accounts comfortable
Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company-approved databases
Provide technical support to clients

Qualifications and skills
Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering
Must have adequate knowledge about professional Project Management Tools
Must be able to read and modify architectural, mechanical, electrical and networking blueprints as per project requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable with patience and professionalism
Experience in customer service will be a plus
